Meet Dawn Durocher: Owner
With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed and Medical Nail Technician in New Hampshire and Maine, Dawn Durocher is a trusted expert in foot care and holistic wellness. Her background includes advanced foot care, diabetic and geriatric care, gait assessment, functional nutrition, and an internship with a podiatrist who continues to serve as her medical advisor.
Through years of hands-on experience, Dawn has seen one truth again and again your feet are always talking to you. Her work helps clients learn how to listen, honoring the communication between the feet, the nervous system, and the brain through education, breath, gentle movement, and nourishing rituals that support comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
As the founder of Body And Sole Wellness Spa in Rochester, NH, Dawn has created The Sole Sanctuary, a dedicated space for restorative foot soaking, grounding rituals, and intentional self-care. She is also the formulator behind The Sole Apothecary, a thoughtfully crafted collection of foot care and wellness products designed to extend these rituals beyond the spa and into everyday life.
With first-hand experience in the sandwich generation, Dawn is deeply passionate about supporting caregivers, seniors, and those who spend their lives caring for others while often putting themselves last. From personalized and concierge foot care to workshops, coaching, speaking engagements, and elegant wellness events, Dawn blends science, sole, and a bit of sparkle into every experience.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Dawn traveling and immersing herself in new cultures, enjoying nature, dreaming up themed experiences, and returning to the hands-on creative projects she loves—especially crafting Harry Potter and fairy-inspired wands.
Debbie Nelson, Wellness Spa Manager
Debbie partnered with her longtime friend, Dawn in the fall of 2022. Her skills with bookkeeping and later fully operating a small manufacturing company for 33 years have helped bring Body and Sole Wellness Spa to a new level. She is embarking on a new career in a different field and is excited for all the new things coming.
Debbie loves quilting, concerts, traveling, crafts, and most of all spending time with her family and friends and spoiling her 3 grandkids.
